Alchemist

This personal project was inspired by a visit to a local coffee shop called Alchemist Trading Co in Johns Creek, GA.

Stepping into Alchemist for the first time, I was captivated by the cool and unique environment and immersive branding.

Design concept

The experience inspired me to develop my own storytelling of the concept by designing a chair that would communicate the cosmic alchemy vibe in a concrete and poetic way.

3D Renderings

The concept started with the image of the cosmic universe. As a kid I was fascinated by the Andromeda constellation myth in astronomy, so from there I dug into the vast and mysterious cosmic world.
